Road trip out along potholed roads,
Miombo woodlands and dombos.
Rivers winding and churning away
To the bush and tranquility.
Vistas of green and muddy river
Butterflies flitting and the grasses a quiver.
Firelight and braaied meat,
Starry skies hard to beat.
